AndyMark 65 Tooth 9 mm Wide 5 mm Pitch HTD Timing Belt

These 3" diameter HD (heavy-duty) solid-core Compliant Wheels are intended for manipulating objects where you need a little 'give' in your intake system. These wheels deform out of the way to allow rigid objects to be manipulated easily. This makes for high-performance intakes and internal conveyors. These wheels do not require the use of expensive hubs to be driven, thanks to their integrated high strength polycarbonate hubs - which are made from the same mold that creates our Hex Molded Spacers.

These are all of our 9 mm wide 5 mm pitch HTD synchronous timing belt offerings. All of these belts are a composite of flexible rubber with a fiberglass tensile member throughout. Synchronous timing belts, also known as a toothed belt or synchronous belt, are designed to eliminate slippage and keep any number of objects rotating at a constant rate. Peanut Extrusion is an easy to use structure. The profile of the extrusion looks like a peanut and has two holes that are perfect for a 1/4-20 thread-forming screw. The added mid spans are positioned to flank a pair of bolts that self thread into the adjoining peanut extrusion. These spans prevent the peanut from getting crushed by over tightening the bolts. The advantages of Peanut Extrusion are the ease of creating rigid corner joints and the closed profile of the extrusion that prevents dust build up. Whether you are making a table in your shop or a strong frame for a robot, this extrusion is the one for you!

This adapter converts an 8 mm keyed shaft to 1/2 in. hex. The keyway is 2 mm wide. This allows you to adapt the output of a motor or gearbox like the CIM Motor (am-0255) to any of our hubs or wheels with a 1/2 in. hex bore. You'll need a 2 mm machine key (am-1121) to complete the assembly and transmit torque from the motor. 

This adapter is no longer available in the 0.75 in. length.

Churro is a versatile extruded aluminum hex profile. The outside of this part is a 1/2 in. hex with small concave dimples which act as weight savings. There is an inside hole is sized at 0.2 in. in order to fit 1/4-20 thread forming screws. No tapping or threading is needed, as long as a thread forming screw is used. The outside hex size fits a 1/2 in. wrench or socket. 

The 3-foot churro, our most popular length and the best value on shipping, is available anodized in red, blue, purple, gold and black to dress up your robot. Anodized finish is hardy and doesn't flake off or add thickness like paint, but it is possible for a scratch to expose the bare metal beneath. Take basic precautions in your shop like watching for sharp tools or overtightening this churro in a vise.
