Studica Robotics is Headed to the FTC Michiana Premier Event!
Studica Robotics is excited to join the action at the inaugural FIRST® Tech Challenge Michiana Premier Event, hosted by GEARS, June 19–22 in South Bend, Indiana! This extraordinary gathering welcomes 96 elite FTC teams from across the globe for a capstone celebration of the INTO THE DEEP season.
From Olympic-style ceremonies and international flair to thrilling matches and unforgettable evening events, including a video game tournament and an 80s-themed concert, this multi-day experience is more than just a competition. While we’re thrilled to showcase Studica Robotics products at the event, we’re even more honored to be part of this new tradition that celebrates innovation, community, and the global spirit of FIRST® Tech Challenge (FTC).
What Are Premier Events for FTC?
FTC Premier Events are a new kind of high-caliber competition introduced by FIRST® for the 2024–2025 season. Think of them as an alternative “finale” experience to the FIRST Championship for FTC teams. Here’s what makes a Premier Event special:
Invitation Only: Teams qualify through performance at Regional Championships.FIRST-Recognized: These events are officially sanctioned by FIRST.
Celebration-Worthy Wins: Winners are recognized at the following season’s FIRST Championship.
