C-Channel aluminum piece, similar to the structural members used in a C-Base Drive Chassis, except longer. The intent of this 72" long C-Channel is to allow users to build up from their Drive Chassis, and for them to construct frame systems by using the popular C-Base fastening techniques.

This long piece utilize brackets (am-0935, am-2793, am-2448, am-2449), Corner Connects (am-0212), and 1/4-20 screws and nuts to make up a easy-to-use framing system.

Be sure to note this is the 72" version and is different than the 30" C-Channel version (am-2222).

Churro is a versatile extruded aluminum hex profile. The outside of this part is a 1/2 in. hex with small concave dimples which act as weight savings. There is an inside hole is sized at 0.2 in. in order to fit 1/4-20 thread forming screws. No tapping or threading is needed, as long as a thread forming screw is used. The outside hex size fits a 1/2 in. wrench or socket.

The 3-foot churro, our most popular length and the best value on shipping, is available anodized in red, blue, purple, gold and black to dress up your robot. Anodized finish is hardy and doesn't flake off or add thickness like paint, but it is possible for a scratch to expose the bare metal beneath. Take basic precautions in your shop like watching for sharp tools or overtightening this churro in a vise.

Peanut Extrusion is the 1"x1" installment of our easy-to-use structure system. The profile of this extrusion looks like a peanut, and has two holes sized for 1/4-20 thread-forming screws. The added mid-spans are positioned to flank a pair of bolts that self thread into an adjoining piece pf Peanut Extrusion. These spans prevent the extrusion from getting crushed by over-tightening. Enjoy the ease of creating rigid corner joints without gussets, with a closed profile that prevents dust and debris build up.
