Pitsco H2O Turbine

Pitsco H2O Turbine is a great warm-up activity for teaching about renewable energy, Newton’s third law, rotational energy, and other topics – even history. Put this water wheel under a stream of water to light a bulb – students can see the energy generated by hydropower.

Water turbine kit includes laser-cut acrylic pieces, Motor 500, gears, and hardware to construct the 9-3/4" x 3-3/4" x 2-1/4" generator. Requires screwdriver, sold separately, and a flowing water supply such as an indoor or outdoor faucet. Can also be used with a voltmeter, sold separately.
