    Robits Intermediate Mobility Kit

    **NOTE: This expansion requires a Robits Core Kit (am-5000)**

     

    The Robits Intermediate Mobility Expansion is a great way to increase your Robits Core Kit by incorporating mecanum wheels. This expansion kit allows users to upgrade their Robits Core Kit (am-5000) by building a mecanum drivetrain in one of three major configurations. This kit utilizes the 4" BB mecanum wheel, our latest mecanum wheel with ball bearings for ultra smooth rotation.

    Configurations:

    • 80-100T Gearbox - This configuration uses the Robits 80-100 tooth mounting plate making it easy to change gear ratios and iterate on your drive characteristics.

     

    • Through Tube - This configuration uses the Robits Pass Through Gearbox allowing the wheel to be mounted directly to the output shaft. This leaves more space above the chassis for additional structure. The integrated nut pockets on this gearbox allow it to be mounted both vertically and horizontally.

     

    • Over Tube - This configuration uses the Robits Pass Through Gearbox in the flipped configuration to move the gearboxes closer to the center of the robot. This leaves more space at the ends of the chassis for openings.

    Configurations:

    Preorder Information

     

    • Preorders received by 2-August-2025 will begin shipping the week after FIRST Tech Challenge kickoff, 6-September-2025 (no weekend deliveries).
    • Preorders will be fulfilled in the order they are received.

      • Payment for the 2025-2026 game set Preorder is due when the order is placed; options below:
        • Credit card payments allow the order to go directly into the Preorder queue.
