The MK4i module inverts the motors on an MK4 module to a lower position where they are out of the way and better protected. Overall height and center of gravity are therefore lower. The MK4i module also moves the wheel further into the corner of the chassis for a wider wheelbase which results in a more stable robot. Because the wheel is moved into an area the frame would typically occupy, the MK4i includes a secondary plate to properly box in the chassis.
These gears are the controlling factor for the SDS modules' drive gear ratios. The MK4 is compatible with all 4 drive gear ratios. The MK4i is available in ratios L1-L3. L1 and L2 ratios are the most popular ratios and are suitable for standard full-weight competition robots. The L3 ratio is more aggressive and is recommended for lightweight robots. The L4 ratio is very aggressive and is only recommended for very lightweight mini bots.

L2 Gear Ratio 6.75:1 (MK4/4i):
L3 Gear Ratio 6.12:1 (MK4/4i):

SDS Billet Bearing Blocks are the core of an incredibly efficient and smooth elevator mechanism.
SDS Billet Elevator Bearing Blocks are designed to integrate with tube plugs and commonly available pre-drilled or punched 2x1 tubing. Attach 1 or 2 tube plugs to a bearing block depending on where it is used on an elevator. These allow the connection between the box tube and the Bearing Blocks to be primarily inside of the box tube, resulting in an incredibly low profile.
These premium bearings blocks utilize cam followers for the primary load direction. Cam followers are designed for the line contact loading present in FRC elevators and have a higher load rating when compared to similarly sized ball bearings. Cam followers also have a much larger face width than typical bearings, allowing for more overlap to prevent elevator stages from becoming dislodged.
SDS bearing blocks come with 2 sets of spacers for the cam followers. Users can decide if they would like to use the long spacers for maximum bearing overlap, or the short spacers if needed for screw head clearance.
