    Solid Pool Noodle

    These solid polyethylene (PE) closed cell foam noodles are great for building bumpers for the FIRST® Robotics Competition.

     

    This foam outperformed all other tested options when paired with a backing of Soft Tiles. 

     

    A rough estimation is that about 6-8 pool noodles are used for 1 set of bumpers depending on robot size. Noodles are required to be purchased in multiples of 8. Read the robot rules to ensure you understand how to create legal bumpers based on this year's rules.

    This product includes two 1.25 inch long half inch hex couplers. This product has been verified to clamp all the various standards of 1/2" hex, rounded hex and AM churro with significant clamping force.

     

    • 1.25" long overall - shortest hex coupler on the market.
    • Split half design allows you to easily remove or add the coupler back on - great for mechanisms that might require maintenance or replacement.
