With more than 100 elements and growing, TETRIX® MAX is a flexible robotics system with endless design possibilities. With MAX, students can create robots that are big and tough yet precise. Plus, using the PRIZM® controller means you can now autonomously control your robot using the Arduino Software (IDE) and a fully integrated, programmable brain developed specifically for the building system.
Using TETRIX MAX offers students the ability to use real-world tools to learn and apply the engineering design process while boosting problem-solving and critical-thinking skills. The comprehensive system and curriculum available enable educators to deliver an evergreen STEM program that builds career-readiness skills for students – whatever direction their education and career paths might take them.
These slotted corner brackets allow the structural elements to be connected at varying angles to modify and customize builds.
Structural elements can be connected at varying angles with these slotted flat brackets.
Adjustable Servo Brackets features 16 mm of horizontal adjustability. Just attach a servo, sold separately, and bracket close to the gears and slide it over for a perfect fit.
This pack offers a comprehensive assortment of the advanced gearing mechanisms available in the building system. Featuring 48 total elements, this parts pack enables students to take their exploration of transmission and motion to a whole new level.
Includes:
Allen Wrench L-Key Set feature a ProHold tip to make screwing and unscrewing faster and easier – even when the screw is at an awkward angle. Made of high-torque steel.
Comes in the following inch sizes: .050, 1/16, 5/64, 3/32, 7/64, 1/8, 9/64, and 5/32.
Angle Pack are structural pieces featuring 90º angles and heavy-duty aluminum construction. Can be cut to custom lengths with a metal-cutting blade.
Axle Hubs are used to attach gears and wheels to axles and axles to structural elements. Features heavy-duty aluminum construction.
Axle Pack allows you to attach wheels and gears with these precision. Available in 100 mm and 250 mm lengths.
Axle Set Collars lock a rotating axle to secure the horizontal alignment.
Axle Shaft Couplers make an extended axle without a hitch. Just use it to connect two axle shafts together.
Axle Spacers are handy when you need a little space between wheels, gears, and other elements on axles.
Chain with Links is made to work with all ratios of sprockets. The chain pack includes five feet of 0.250" steel chain and four master connecting links. TETRIX chain can easily be cut to custom lengths using the Chain Breaker Tool, sold separately.
These wheels are designed to use four motors each controlling one wheel, so now your robot can move at any angle without turning and with smoother motion using holonomic behavior.
Used as cones and ball catchers in the Tetrix Prime; Builder’s Guide activities, extra cups can come in handy or be used as replacements.
The Powerpole Extension Cable extends the length available for creating connections to DC motors and battery. Each cable is 18" long and comes equipped with Powerpole connectors on both ends. Users can connect multiple cables together to create longer lengths.
