    Vivid-Hosting VH-109 FRC Radio

Setup directions for this radio can be found here, https://frc-radio.vivid-hosting.net/

The VH-109 radio was designed for use in the FIRST robotics competition.

    • Unfiltered power input capable
    • Ruggedized for demanding FIRST FRC robots
    • Configurable Passive Power over Ethernet outputs (Selectable Output via DIP switches, disabled by default) for powering downstream devices
    • Based on Wi-Fi 2.4G 802.11b/g/n, Wi-Fi 6E 802.11ax for a modern, superior wireless experience

It can either be used as a wireless bridge, placed on your robot, connected to the robot controller, or as an indoor wireless access point connected to your robot driver station. By configuring one VH-109 as a wireless bridge, and a second VH-109 as a wireless access point, you will be able to connect the VH-109 on your robot to a VH-109 on your driver station and wirelessly controll your robot via Wi-Fi 6E.

    Voltage Regulator Module

    #am-2857
    $90.00
    ( 5 In stock)

NOTE: This product is not included in any Sales or Discounts.

The Voltage Regulator Module (VRM) is a DC to DC convertor that is capable of both boost and buck voltage regulation. The device features two independent SEPIC (Single Ended Primary-inductor Converter) regulators allowing the input voltage to be above or below the desired output voltage. There are two regulators (one 5V and one 12V) each with two current limiting PTC’s (500mA and 2A). Reverse polarity protection is included.

The VRM has been used in the 2015-2021 FIRST Robotics Competition Kit of Parts.  As of Sept 10, 2020 according to FIRST blog these will continue to remain competition legal in future years.

    Pigeon 2.0

    #am-3556a
    $355.00
    ( 9 In stock)

Pigeon is an IMU with 9 degrees of freedom, containing a 3-axis magnetometer, accelerometer, and gyro. The gyro has built-in temperature compensation. Pigeon provides a heading by sensor fusing all 9 measurements. It can be connected to the Talon SRX for power and communication via UART, or it can be wired to the CAN bus while powered from a separate 12V source. Pigeon has built-in compass compensation for hard-iron, soft-iron, and physical tilt. The Pigeon 2.0 eliminates the need for on-boot calibration and temperature calibration and does not require stillness upon boot-up.
