This simple bracket handles so many of your mounting needs! Mount motors or gearboxes anywhere and make axle supports with bearings - it's a do-it-all, put-it-anywhere bearing and motor mount bracket.
Any motor or gearbox with a 2-inch diameter bolt circle can be mounted in this bracket. The center hole is sized to hold a standard 1.125 inch outside diameter bearing.

This is a Trilobe, thread forming, or thread rolling screw, ideal for applications where the screw is being threaded into plastic or metal. A flat washer is part of the 5/16 hex head, providing more surface area contact than a regular hex head. The increased bearing area decreases the likeliness of crushing mating surfaces. Trilobe, or Thread Rolling, screws have a blunt tapered point that requires a pre-drilled or punched hole; eliminates chips and permits replacement with standard screw. Zinc plating froms a zinc carbonate film that greatly retards the corrosion rate in a normal atmosphere, which is similar to the aluminum oxide film that forms on aluminum that accounts for its low corrosion rate. Whether you are building an elite custom drivetrain or a championship manipulator, you need your components to stay where they're supposed to. These lightweight spacers come in 3/8", 1/2", and 5 mm hex bores to accommodate the most common shaft types They can also be used on round shafts and bolts (5mm is great for #10 hardware!). If you need to space a lot grab some 1" spacers. If you need ultimate precision pick up some 0.063" spacers. Not sure which spacers you need? These spacers are molded in black polycarbonate, a tough, crack resistant material that FIRST teams are familiar with. These spacers should resist stress cracking. These custom designed collar clamps have been designed specifically with FIRST Robotics Competition teams in mind. The one-piece collar clamp is a nice fractional 1/2 in. width to make shaft stackups easy. The clamping force is provided by a 10-32 socket head screw, which is bigger than most used in the competition marketplace. This provides a high-strength clamping solution that shouldn't strip out when you need it most. You can even replace the 10-32 screw if it becomes lost with the screws historically used in the AM14U family of chassis. These thoughtfully designed collar clamps also have small bosses on each side. This allows these collar clamps to be installed directly adjacent to an FR8ZZ Round or FR8ZZ Hex bearing without rubbing on the outer races for smooth operation.
