250mm Linear Slide Set

This is a Heavy Duty Hex Bearing which outperforms our previous 1/2" Hex Bearings as it has a Heavy Duty Inner Race. This FR8ZZ-HexHD bearing, 1/2" hex bore, flanged, heavy duty inner race, shielded ball bearing, has an inner race that is thicker and stronger than our recent offering of a similar bearing (am-0279). This bearing has more material between the corners of the hex bore and the edge of the race making it stronger and much less likely to crack under high load.

This bearing is guaranteed to have a stronger, thicker race. 100% of these bearings have been quality checked for a smooth fit over 1/2" hex stock here at AndyMark. Many of our long-time customers will recognize this bearing, as it is the same version we sold back in 2008-2011, and we did not have any failures. Now, it is renamed and quality checked for your high load needs - including drive chassis with cantilevered wheels.

Made from 3mm thick heavy 6061-T6 Aluminum, the Inside L Bracket is 42mm x 45mm and is used inside the U Channel or Low profile channel.As with the other Studica Robotics building components, it has the common hole pattern which makes it easy to connect to other structure with very little or no additional machining required. The NeveRest 60 is a gearmotor with an attached encoder. The output shaft geometry and the gearbox housing diameter is similar to what FTC teams are familiar with. The shaft is 6mm dia and the gearbox housing is 37mm in diameter 

The power cable which feeds into the black encoder housing has two powerpole connectors already crimped to the end of the cable.

FTC Legality: 

According to the FIRST Tech Challenge Game Manual Part 1, Rule RE04 this is legal for the 2016-2017 FTC Game.

Encoder Cable options: 

Encoder cables are not included with this motor, and are sold separately. We have two options:

1. am-2992 is a cable which has the white 4-pin connector for the encoder and also the black 4-pin connector for the HiTechnic and Modern Robotics motor controller.
2. am-2993 is a cable which has the white 4-pin connector for the encoder on one end and 4 separate black connectors.

Encoder: 

There is an encoder mounted to the back side of this motor. It is a 7 pulse per revolution (ppr), hall effect encoder. Since the motor's gearbox has a 60:1 reduction, then the NeverRest 60 output shaft provides 420 ppr.
