This pack offers a comprehensive assortment of the advanced gearing mechanisms available in the building system. Featuring 48 total elements, this parts pack enables students to take their exploration of transmission and motion to a whole new level.
Includes:
Tetrix Max Servo Y Connector connects two servos to one channel.
These gearboxes are designed with the same 37 mm diameter as the original 60:1 gearbox, while using the same 6 mm D-shaft and alignment pins, so getting the additional speed you need is a breeze.
The new TETRIX® Flex-Build Robot Chassis is an all-in-one set that contains everything you need to create a fully functioning base for your robot. Its TETRIX Robo-Rail structure, made from 6063 aluminum, provides a super strong and rigid frame construction. Four TorqueNADO® motors supply plenty of power for tough competition tasks. Two wheel styles are included: four Mecanum wheels and four 4" standard wheels, as well as motor mounts, axles, attachment hubs, hardware, and tools. The chassis can be assembled in several configurations so you can adapt your robot to your competition challenge demands. The Robo-Rail grid pattern enables you to fasten your robot’s scoring mechanisms such as intakes, lift arms, shooting devices, and anything else you can dream up!
The Studica 12V 3,000 mAh NiMH (nickel metal hydride) Battery Pack, PP45 comes with a w/20 amp fuse. It is a 10-cell, 12-volt rechargeable battery that brings long-lasting power to motors and electronics that are used in the WorldSkills Mobile Robotics Collection. The Studica NiMH Battery Pack Charger, PP45, is required to charge the battery.
This battery is NOT COMPETITION LEGAL for FIRST TECH CHALLENGE or FIRST ROBOTICS COMPETITION. Specifications,
Take control of your TETRIX® DC motors – this controller plugs into your TETRIX wireless gamepad receiver (sold separately) to enable you to control the speed and direction of two TETRIX 12-volt DC motors.
TETRIX MAX Worm Gear Box utilizes 4:1 gear ratio for slow and smooth rotational motion, this gear box minimizes backlash and greatly reduces the chance of a back-driving gear motor, so its position can be held even when power is not applied. All-metal construction for durability and power.
Additional gearing options are available with TETRIX 10:1 Worm Gear or TETRIX 20:1 Worm Gear.
This motor controller connects to the PRIZM expansion port, enabling users to control up to two additional 12-volt DC motors. Up to four motor controllers can be connected to the PRIZM expansion port. There are two H-bridge outputs to control the speed and direction of two DC motors and two quadrature encoder input ports. Additional power and expansion ports support daisy-chain configurations.
Supported programming languages include Arduino and EV3. The motor controller can be connected to the LEGO EV3 Brick. Software blocks can be downloaded from the Resources tab below.
