This chassis is the FRAME ONLY portion of the 2022 FRC Kit of Parts chassis, the AM14U5. This product ships as an un-assembled kit and does not include the gearboxes, belts, wheels or motors.
Various Configurations:
Built on the same great features of previous AM14U family chassis, this can be configured into many different perimeter, wheel, and gearbox configurations. There are literally thousands of possible playing configurations.
It is shipped as a Kit with plates that can build its large square configuration, without any components reduced in length. This makes it the largest possible size and allows for the user to trim the length and width of the chassis to become a long or wide version that fits into different size constraints of each specific year. The assembly instructions show how it can be changed, be sure to check out the assembly videos as well.
Box Size: 7 in. x 7 in. x 34 in.

Polycarbonate is a terrific material to use when constructing robots. Bolt it to two separate components to add some rigidity or use it to cover an area to keep items out while being able to see inside.
This is a single sheet of polycarbonate (PC) plastic, cut to a 24x24 in. square. This single sheet will be shipped with a protective covering on both sides of the plastic.
Polycarbonate was invented in 1963 by Dan Fox at General Electric. GE's trade name for this plastic is LEXAN, but it also is sold under other trade names (Makrolon, Hyzod, Cyrolon). This material is NOT plexiglas or acrylic, as we don't suggest that you use that material on a mobile robot, since acrylic will easily shatter.
This kit contains the brackets and screws needed to create a frame opening between the inner plates of the AM14U family chassis. Parts included:
This bumper kit was originally designed to fit the AndyMark C-Base Chassis but will work on most extrusion based custom frames.
Plywood is not being shipped with the bumper kit.
Additional Information: We also have stick-on numbers available (not included with material).
