This miniature traffic street light operates on two "AA" batteries. There is an off/off switch in the rear. When on, the green light will come on for 11 seconds, followed by the yellow light for 3 seconds and the red light for 6 seconds. This cycle will repeat until the unit is switched off. The battery will generally last a very long time.
