Now, you can put your CKD valves on a light weight 4-bank aluminum manifold.
Purchase this manifold base (am-3982), listed on this very page.
Fill the 4 slots. You must pick a total of exactily 4 items from these 3 choices (or use older CKD valves you may already have)*
CKD Single Solenoid Valve (am-3983)
CKD Double Solenoid Valve (am-4002)
Blank cover (am-4003) for every unwanted slot
Choose your valve fittings:
If your manifold has 4 valves, buy the Fitting Pack for 4-Valve Manifold (am-3982_f4)
If your manifold has 3 valves, buy the Fitting Pack for 3-Valve Manifold (am-3982_f3)
If your manifold has 1 or 2 valves, buy qty 2 or 4 of the usual CKD fitting (am-2384)
You cannot just use the usual CKD fitting (am-2384) on all the valves since the valves are packed so tightly together on the manifold. Every other valve needs fitting extensions (am-4004). These are included in the above Fitting Packs.
Choose manifold fittings:
Air needs to be supplied to the manifold. Add any 1/8" NPT fitting in the middle port on either end of the manifold. You most likely will need to plug one of the two ports with an 1/8" NPT plug (am-2958), or add another fitting to extend pressure to a second manifold or high pressure storage.
Assemble your manifold:
Mount each valve in it's position, with its rubber gasket between the valve and manifold.
Install the fittings so that the extensions are placed on every other valve. This gives proper spacing for mounting fittings.
*You can remove the metal bases of popular CKD single solenoid (am-2344) and CKD double solenoid (am-2343) valves and place them directly on one of these manifolds.
Specifications
Pneumatic fitting with M5 threads and 1/4" push-in tubing port This fitting screws into a CKD single or double solenoid valve. Specifications:
This is a pneumatic push-to-connect union tee fitting. All three of the ports are push-to-connect 1/4" fittings. Specifications:
This is a push-to-connect "Y" fitting. Specifications:
This is a blank cover fitting in where a valve would mount on the CKD manifold (am-3982). All 4 ports of the manifold are required to be covered by either a solenoid or by this cover.
These double acting single rod stainless steel cylinders are a solid choice when you want air actuated motion. These cylinders have a strong 0.75 in. thick bore and are available in multiple stroke lengths.
This is a hex nipple brass fitting, with one end being 1/4" NPT and the other being 1/8" NPT port. The intent of this part is to connect the air compressor (pump) to the aluminum manifold within the Pneumatics Base Kit. Specifications:
This is an single solenoid, air-piloted, compact valve made by CKD. It's great for efficiently providing air to a small to medium sized actuator on mobile robots.
In order to make this work, you will also need three (3) M5 fittings (NOT INCLUDED) and some tubing (also NOT INCLUDED).

CKD part number: 4GA110R-M5-4
This is an double solenoid, air-piloted, compact valve made by CKD. It's great for efficiently providing air to a small to medium sized actuator on mobile robots.
CKD part number: 4GA120R-M5-4
This is an air pressure switch with a factory preset setting of 115-120 psi. This switch is able to send a signal to a robot controller, which can then tell a pneumatic compressor (air pump) to stop operating.
