    CIM Motor Cooler

    #am-2865
    $13,00 $15,63
    (En stock)

This heatsink is designed to fit the CIM motor FRC teams love so much. This cooler helps disperse heat away from the motor, preserving the life of the motor. Combine more than 1 CIM Cooler (tm) at different cut angles to produce various coverage angles from 10-360 degrees. When using thermal compound between the CIM Cooler (tm) and the motor, test results show from 5-30 degrees F lower operating temperatures. Quantity 1 of this part provides 180 degrees of motor coverage. Next Gen Roboticsmakes this product, manufactured and designed within the USA.

    #am-3745
    $176,81 $199,68
    (En stock)

This gearbox comes with two AndyMark RedLine Motors (am-3775) to give you a total package of about the same output speed, size and weight of one CIM motor, but with almost 700 watts of power! Use this anywhere you would use a CIM with its identical output shaft and mounting geometry. Please note, this gearbox is louder than most due to the open case and and extremely fast spinning gears.

Possess your own 775 motors and want to save money? Only want to use one motor? This gearbox is available in a motor-less, unassembled version by the part number am-3745g.

    Product Usage:
All AndyMark gearboxes require grease for proper operation and long life. We suggest using our Red Tacky Grease, am-2768. We also encourage that the user powers the gearbox continuously for 30 minutes without grease to allow the gear teeth to wear in. While we do design with short run times in mind, this 'run in' period for smooth gearbox operation, is recommended. For this gearbox some tape over the front vent holes of the motors during the run-in is recommended to prevent metal dust from getting inside the motor. Once this is completed, thoroughly grease the gear teeth periodically to ensure smooth operation.

    Specifications:

This gearbox is designed to take one or two AndyMark RedLine Motors (am-3775) and combine them to give you a total package of about the same output speed, size and weight of one CIM motor, but with almost 700 watts of power! Use this anywhere you would use a CIM with its identical output shaft and mounting geometry. Please note, this gearbox is louder than most due to the open case and and extreamly fast spinning gears.

This version ships unassembled with hardware to attach one or two AndyMark 775 RedLine Motors, am-3775. Build it yourself with just 4 screws and an arbor press to install the pinion gears onto the motors, and bearings (and optional CIM boss) into the plates. Want the pinions for this gearbox pre-installed on your motors? We have that too! Just note if you get motors with pre-installed pinions you'll have two pinions left over.

Need to save even more time? We have the entire DeCIMate, assembled with two RedLine Motors available as am-3745.

    775 RedLine Motor

    #am-3775a
    $27,00
    (En stock)

This updated version of the AndyMark 775 RedLine Motor is an even faster and more powerful version of this popular 775-class motor platform. With a power rating of up to 382W, this motor is capable of delivering even more immense power in the same small lightweight package over the previous version. This ball-bearing supported, air cooled motor is best used in high-speed applications where the motor will not be stalled for long periods such as shooters, conveyors, and intake mechanisms. With sufficient care and attention to your application's traction limit, this motor can be effective in FRC drive applications as well.

    Product Usage:

Motors need air flow to keep cool. A hot motor won't last nearly as long, or deliver the power it once did new. To keep a RedLine cool and in great shape, use a 775 Vent Plate Spacer, am-3650 when mounting to a custom gearbox. All of our gearboxes that use this motor have vent plate spacers included with your purchase or include sufficient venting machined in.

This is ONLY the motor that is featured in the NeveRest Series gearmotors. This motor has a pinion gear pre-installed that interfaces with either our NeveRest Classic gearboxes (12T) or our NeveRest Orbital gearboxes (17T). To produce a reasonable amount of torque for either driving your robot or moving a mechanism you will need one of the following gearboxes.

The power cable which feeds into the black encoder housing has two different options that are already crimped to the end of the cable. (select your needs above):

    1. NEW for 2020! JST VH 2-pin connectors - Classic Motor Option or Orbital Motor Option: these option plug directly into the FIRST Tech Challenge REV Controller
    2. Anderson Powerpole 15A connectors - Classic Motor Option or Orbital Motor Option

12 tooth pinion gear options: am-3104 & am-3104b are compatible with CLASSIC Gearboxes and replacements on CLASSIC Gearmotors:

    • NeveRest Classic 40 Gearbox No Motor
    • NeveRest Classic 60 Gearbox No Motor
    • NeveRest Classic 40 Gearmotor
    • NeveRest Classic 60 Gearmotor

17 tooth pinion gear options: am-3104_17t & am-3104b_17t Compatible With ORBITAL Gearboxes:

    • NeveRest Orbital 3.7 Gearbox No Motor
    • NeveRest Orbital 3.7 Gearmotor
    • NeveRest Orbital 20 Gearmotor

    FRC/FTC Legality:

    • According to the FIRST Tech Challenge Game Manual Part, this is legal for the 2019-2020 FTC Game
    • According to the FIRST Robotics Challenge Game Manual, this is legal for the 2020 FRC Game

    Encoder Cable options:
Encoder cables are not included with this motor, and are sold separately. We have three options:

    1. am-3926a is a cable for connecting the encoder to the REV expansion hub used in FTC.
    2. am-2992 is a cable which has the white 4-pin connector for the encoder and also the black 4-pin connector for the HiTechnic motor controller.
    3. am-2993 is a cable which has the white 4-pin connector for the encoder on one end and 4 separate black connectors.

    Encoder:
The hall effect encoder mounted on the back of this motor provides 28 pulses per revolution (ppr).

    Use in a BaneBots Gearbox:
This motor can be attached to a NeveRest Sport series gearboxes. Watch this video for step by step instruction on a similar gearbox, and reference this document for steps on using it with the NeveRest Sport.
