Bring thrill to your classroom or competition with CO₂ dragsters! Dragsters are an exciting method to teach the design process. Students design a prototype and then produce an actual CO₂-powered dragster and race it!

Kits and packs are available in Fusion, balsa wood, and basswood. All three blanks are officially approved by the Technology Student Association (TSA) for use in CO₂ dragster competition!

Storage boxes are included in single kits but are sold separately for 50-packs.

Cut your dragster’s axle weight in half by using aluminum instead of steel! Buy these 1/8" diameter axles precut, or cut your own from our three-foot lengths. Use the Precision Metal Saw (sold separately) to cut axles to desired lengths.

Design a shorter, lighter dragster with this kit instead of our other basswood CO₂ Dragster Kit. The only difference is that this basswood body blank is about 100 mm shorter than the one in the CO₂ Dragster Kits.

The Lx (front) Wheel takes on a more realistic, modern design while offering the speed of the GT series, Nitro, and C Wheels. One-piece construction provides durability.

Students use this kit to complete an exciting vehicle design project that culminates in a race competition, much like the Metric Dragster activity. Wide body blanks (3" x 3" x 12") allow for car designs that are closer to production-car proportions.

More emphasis can be placed on car styling and learning the industrial design process than on car performance. The activity can be a follow-up to a clay car design project (clay materials and tools sold separately).

Realistic wheels have removable hubs that can be painted. Kit includes predrilled balsa wood body blank, CO2 cartridge, long axles, four wheels, four brass washers, screw eyes, sandpaper, straw for axle tubes, and instructions. Requires a drill, coping saw, wood file or rasp, finish, and a race system, sold separately.

This handy molded plastic tool holds your rocket fins in place against the body tube for gluing. After the fins are attached, the Rocket Fin Holder can be turned on its side to work as a paint stand. Designed for use with the Pitsco Solid-Fuel Rocket.
