The Rack & Pinion Linear Slide Set (2 pack) includes 2 Racks, 2 Pinions, and 4 Glides. The rack hole pattern matches that of the channel, flat beams, square beams and flat brackets so it's easy to mount on the Studica structure. the rack and the glides are made of POM Plastic providing high stiffness, low friction, and excellent dimensional stability. The pinion has a 6mm D-shaft hub, 25.52mm addendum circle diameter and is made of 6061-T6 Aluminum.
The 100mm (4") Drive Wheel can be used as a simple wheel providing good traction on carpet and tile flooring. They can also be used for intake systems.
Use with 1/2" hex shaft of use 6mm Shaft Hub to use connect 6mm D-Shaft Axles.

The NeveRest 40 is a gearmotor with an attached encoder. The output shaft geometry and the gearbox housing diameter is similar to what FTC teams are familiar with. The shaft is a 6 mm D and the gearbox housing is 37 mm diameter.
FIRST Legality:
Encoder: There is an encoder mounted to the backside of this motor. It is a 7 pulse per revolution (ppr), hall effect encoder. Since the motor's gearbox has a 40:1 reduction, then the NeverRest 40 output shaft provides 280 ppr.
Encoder Cable Options: NeveRest motors do not come with an encoder cable as we offer 3 cable options:
am-3926a allows you to connect the encoder directly to the FIRST Tech Challenge REV Controller.
am-2992 has the 4 encoder pins joined in one housing using standard 0.1" spacing.

Churro is a versatile extruded aluminum hex profile. The outside of this part is a 1/2 in. hex with small concave dimples which act as weight savings. There is an inside hole is sized at 0.2 in. in order to fit 1/4-20 thread forming screws. No tapping or threading is needed, as long as a thread forming screw is used. The outside hex size fits a 1/2 in. wrench or socket. The 3-foot churro, our most popular length and the best value on shipping, is available anodized in red, blue, purple, gold and black to dress up your robot. Anodized finish is hardy and doesn't flake off or add thickness like paint, but it is possible for a scratch to expose the bare metal beneath. The Studica Square Beam is 8mm by 8mm. As with the other Studica Robotics building components, it has the common hole pattern which makes it easy to connect to other structure with very little or no additional machining required. You can easily connect to other channel, extrusions, bushings, bearing, mounting brackets and more so you can quickly assemble and disassemble robots and automated systems.
Standoffs can be used to space parallel plates, channel, brackets, etc.
