3 inch Compliant Wheel, 1/2 inch Hex, 35A Durometer, Green

You asked, we listened! These 3" diameter HD (heavy-duty) solid-core Compliant Wheels are intended for manipulating objects where you need a little 'give' in your intake system. These wheels deform out of the way to allow rigid objects to be manipulated easily. This makes for high-performance intakes and internal conveyors. These wheels do not require the use of expensive hubs to be driven, thanks to their integrated high strength polycarbonate hubs - which are made from the same mold that creates our Hex Molded Spacers.

Different durometer ratings give each wheel unique characteristics. Green compliant wheels (35A durometer) are the softest and most compliant around objects, while maroon (45A) blue (50A) and black (60A) wheels are increasingly firm.

Entrapption Star .5 Inch Hex Shaft

    #am-0619a
    $15,60 $20,84
    ( 68 En stock)

Our Entrapption Stars have two bore options, making them viable parts for both FRC and FTC! This product is frequently used as intake wheels for picking up game pieces. Made from silicone, they are flexible, yet firm, allowing for the ability to pick up objects of irregular shape.

The 1/2 in. Hex Bore option is designed to be an interference fit on any 0.5 in. Hex Shaft.  This means the bore is actually 0.425 in. and it will be a tight press on, but keep the entrapption star from rotating.

    Spin Take .5 in Hex

    #am-4622
    $7,25

Our SpinTake has three bore options, making it a viable part for both FRC and FTC! This product is ideal as an intake "wheel" for picking up game pieces of varying shapes. Made from natural rubber, the SpinTake is flexible, yet firm. Its unique shape also allows it to be oriented to stay within the robot frame perimeter initially but can reach outside just by spinning. These work in a similar fashion to surgical tubing fingers on an axle, but are easier to implement and provide a cleaner look with more consistent results.

The Hex Bore options are designed to be an interference fit on their associated Hex Shafts. This means it will be a tight press to install but will resist slipping under load.

    Specifications

    • Bore: 5 mm Hex, Nub Bore, 1/2 in. Hex
    • Length (Diameter): 3 in.
    • Material: Natural Rubber
    • Thickness: 0.5 in.

Compliant Star 1/2 Hex 35A Durometer

    #am-5123_green
    $16,25
    ( 59 En stock)

Compliant Stars are the perfect thing for intake mechanisms. The soft material gives way to allow rigid objects to be manipulated easily. A line of multiple stars on a driven hex shaft creates a very effective roller that ignores variations in the objects being driven. The multiple-spoke design allows the star to act as a brush, creating more surface area to interact with and grab objects. This makes for high-performance intakes and internal conveyors. A shaft collar may be used to make absolutely sure the wheels stay clear of other mechanisms or maintain consistent spacing. Molded into the star are several guidelines. Cut the star at the lines (or elsewhere) to create more compact mechanisms.

Different durometer ratings give each Compliant Star unique characteristics. Green stars (35A durometer) are the softest and most compliant around objects, while orange (40A), maroon (45A), and blue (50A) wheels are increasingly firm. Black (60A) is quite firm, while the Gray (80A) is nearly rigid. The increased firmness also allows the latter wheels to carry a higher RPM rating

      Computerized Battery Analyzer with accessories

      #am-4139a
      $399,00
      ( 0 En stock)

The computerized Battery Analyzer is much more than a simple battery voltage tester or a battery load tester. It will test virtually any type or size of battery, any chemistry or number of cells, up to 55 volts. We are making this tester available with accessories intended for FIRST legal batteries, although teams may purchase the CBA without accessories and create their own cables for testing other battery types.

The CBA not only tests the total amount of energy stored within a battery (capacity in amp-hours), but also graphically displays and charts the voltage versus time under a constant current load. Graphs may be displayed, saved and printed, and the axis parameters can be changed at any time. Multiple test graphs of the same battery, or multiple batteries, may be compared or overlaid; a very useful feature for teams looking to test capacity and performance of their batteries as they age.

      To run a test:

      • Install the CBA IV software
      • Connect the battery tester to your computer
      • Connect a fully charged battery to the battery tester
      • Click the "New Test File" Button
        • If you wish to add an additional test to an existing file chose "Append Test" instead.
      • In the New Test window do the following.
        • Select "Discharge" on the left
        • In the blue box on the right click the "Detect" button
          • For an FRC Battery fill in the following settings: Lead Acid, 13.2V, 6 Cells
          • Enter the Ah of the battery
            • Usually 18 for FRC batteries
        • Enter a name for the battery at the top under "Test Name:" and label the battery with this name for future comparison
        • In the center of the screen set "Cutoff V:"
          • This is the voltage that the battery will be depleted to.
          • For an FRC Battery we recommend 10.5
        • In the center of the screen set "Test Amps:"
          • This is the load that the tester will apply to the battery for the duration of the test.
          • For an FRC Battery we recommend 7.5
            • This is the highest the tester can do on an FRC battery and will result in the fastest test.
        • Click "Start"
      • The test will now run for anywhere between a few minutes to a few hours
        • Do not move or touch the battery at all during the test
        • Pausing the test will result in a bad portion of data around the pause and is not recommended
      • When the test is complete a dialogue box will appear informing you of the result and the graph will be complete
        • Click "OK" and repeat the test for another battery.

The critical number to look for is amp hours (Ah) after the test. If the graph crosses the 10.5V at less than 12Ah after 2 consecutive tests from a fully charged state we recommend not using this battery in competition due to the increased risk of brownouts, especially near the end of a match. Such batteries should be marked and only used for things like practice, demos, or testing.

      2" Stealth Wheel 5mm Hex, Green, 35 Durometer (am-3664_green)

      #am-3664_green
      $9,00 $10,42
      ( 14 En stock)

The inside black portion of this wheel is made from molded polycarbonate plastic. The outer tread is TPU (Thermoplastic PolyUrethane). This robust but lightweight wheel provides good traction on carpet and soft tiles. Stealth wheels are the perfect drive wheel for smaller (<50 lb.) robots, or for intakes and other auxiliary robot mechanisms. These wheels are available in a variety of bores and durometers. 4 in. Stealth Wheels feature a 6 bolt pattern on a 1.875 in. bolt circle for mounting sprockets, hubs, and gears. Nub Bore Stealth Wheels feature a 4 bolt pattern on a 16 mm bolt circle found in most FIRST Tech Challenge building systems. The lower the durometer the softer the wheel is, this makes it wear away faster, but also makes it more grippy.

      Product Usage:
Many thread locking materials are not compatible with polycarbonate and can eat away at the plastic. Be sure to check which adhesives are okay to use with this product.

      Specifications

      • Bore: 1/2 in. Hex, 3/8 in. Hex, Nub Bore, 5 mm Hex
      • Diameter: 2 in., 4 in.
      • Durometer: 35A (Green), ⠀40A (Orange), ⠀50A (Blue), ⠀60A (Black), ⠀80A (Gray)
      • Hole Pattern: Qty 4 3.5 mm Holes on a 16 mm Circle for 8 mm bore wheels
      • Material: TPU, Polycarbonate
      • Weight: 0.23lb, 0.1lb
