Developed with a range of educational organizations in mind, YouID Access seamless sign-in software is one step up from traditional cloud sign-in software. It provides access to all web-based applications, allowing students and staff to work in the cloud, simply and securely.
Secure Web Desktop Portal
With just a single click, YouID Access enables users to sign-in just once via a personalized portal, for easy access to all online applications. A selection of color and background themes allows users to personalize their individual portals, which increases engagement and eases the transition of working online in the cloud.
Application Library
YouID Access offers a detailed app library, which updates and expands on a daily basis. It includes everyday cloud-based work tools, such as Office 365 and Google Apps, along with useful online resources, from EdModo to Purple Mash.
Automated Role-based Provisioning
Applications accessed through the portal or app library can be monitored and controlled to ensure content is appropriate for age, grade and/or subject with the use of Impero's automated role-based provisioning.
Seamless Sign-in Password Reset
Should a user forget their login, or wish to alter credentials, passwords can be reset directly from the portal using seamless sign-in password reset (SSPR). A pre-defined list of secret questions, based on memorable data, allows the verification of a user’s identity, ensuring that this automated process is secure
Browser and Device Compatibility
With no need for a client install, YouID Access works from any browser. The YouID Access portal is accessible from any mobile device, allowing all Shibboleth compliant applications to be opened directly with just one click.
