Axle Shaft Couplers make an extended axle without a hitch. Just use it to connect two axle shafts together.
The NeveRest Orbital gearmotor is a robust planetary gearmotor designed for FTC. With many ratios to choose from you can find the right motor for you, from a fast spinning intake to a high reduction arm, all are possible with NeveRest Orbitals. They have a pre-installed encoder and an output shaft directly in the center of the output face. The shaft is a 6 mm D and the gearbox housing is 37 mm in diameter.
This power switch is legal for use in FTC competition.
This switch makes for a simple and satisfying power switch for a robot. It features easy to use XT30 connectors.
We've specially designed the mounting bracket to be compatible with most building systems..
The NeveRest 40 is a gearmotor with an attached encoder. The output shaft geometry and the gearbox housing diameter is similar to what FTC teams are familiar with. The shaft is a 6 mm D and the gearbox housing is 37 mm diameter.
FIRST Legality:
Encoder: There is an encoder mounted to the backside of this motor. It is a 7 pulse per revolution (ppr), hall effect encoder. Since the motor's gearbox has a 40:1 reduction, then the NeverRest 40 output shaft provides 280 ppr.
Encoder Cable Options: NeveRest motors do not come with an encoder cable as we offer 3 cable options:
am-3926a allows you to connect the encoder directly to the FIRST Tech Challenge REV Controller.
am-2992 has the 4 encoder pins joined in one housing using standard 0.1" spacing.
am-2993 allows you to break out the 4 pins separately if you need them in a different order. Working with the Encoders:
Performance Specs: Force Needed to Break Gearbox: 1478 oz-in Time to Failure at Stall: 2 minutes, 54 seconds Motor Case Temperature at Failure: 190 degrees F
485 Servo Pack is one of the best choices for rugged robotic applications. This servo’s great performance and durability are a combination of karbonite gears, high-performance circuitry, and a ball bearing-supported output shaft. Karbonite gearing is nearly four times stronger than nylon gears and provides virtually wear-free performance. Standard rotational range is 90 degrees, but it can be operated to 180 degrees with controllers capable of generating a pulse range from 600 usec to 2400 usec. Produces nearly 84 oz-in of torque power.
TETRIX MAX Motor/Axle Shaft Couplers connects motor and axle shafts with ease. One side fits the motor shaft, while the other side fits the axle shaft.
Axle Set Collars lock a rotating axle to secure the horizontal alignment.
This adapter converts an 8 mm keyed shaft to 1/2 in. hex. The keyway is 2 mm wide. This allows you to adapt the output of a motor or gearbox like the CIM Motor (am-0255) to any of our hubs or wheels with a 1/2 in. hex bore. You'll need a 2 mm machine key (am-1121) to complete the assembly and transmit torque from the motor.
This adapter is no longer available in the 0.75 in. length.
This novel style of collar clamp is split into two pieces so that it can be attached without removing any shafts. The bore is a 1/2" hex. The flats on the perimeter allow for the collar clamp to be held in position or turned for better assembly control. This clamp has been designed and fabricated by BaneBots, and proudly sold through AndyMark. Specifications:
Plastic spacers are included with this clamp, positioned between the two halves. These are to be removed before usage.
Axle Spacers are handy when you need a little space between wheels, gears, and other elements on axles.
TETRIX MAX Bevel Gear & Acetal Bearings includes two heavy-duty aluminum gears along with two acetal bearings that allow for the transfer of the direction of motion at 90 degrees.
