The Dual 775 Sport is the latest innovation in the competition tested high performance line of planetary gearboxes from AndyMark and BaneBots. The Dual 775 Sport gearbox features a fully enclosed 52:16 (3.25:1) spur gear reduction before the planetary input giving you additional reduction in the same length required to combine the two motors. This could save you a stage of reduction in the planetary gears to achieve a similar rpm. The input pinion to the spur gearbox is the same as the input pinion for the planetary gearbox meaning you can swap back and forth with ease.
The Planetary Gearbox (PG) series of gearboxes and gearmotors feature robust planetary gearing inside paired with reliable motors. You asked for it, we delivered. This gearbox now features a 0.50 inch hex output shaft. This allows for easy attachment to 0.50 inch bore gears, sprockets, hubs, and other motion products without the need for adapters or keys. The PG188 Gearmotor includes a 775 class motor with an integrated quadrature encoder, simplifying feedback control.

Here is a gearmotor consisting of a 4-stage planetary gearbox and a RS775 series motor. The motor has been updated to include an encoderalready mounted. The motor with pinion (am-2765) can be purchased separately, if needed.
This product has the same output shaft geometry (10mm with a 4mm keyway) as our other PG series gearmotors (PG27, PG71).
We also have a convenient bracket (am-2197, not included) which can mount this motor.

* Note: Because the encoder is connected to the back of the motor shaft, the rotation is backwards from normal front mounted encoders so you will need compensate for this in software or simply connect Ch. A output to your Ch. B input and Ch. B output to your Ch. A input.
Performance Specs:
This is a simple brass extruded adapter for the PG71 gearmotor. The intent of this part is to go over the PG71 output shaft, making the perimeter geometry of the shaft to be 1/2" diameter with a 1/8" machine key.
This sleeve is a tight fit over the PG71 shaft. It can be held in place by a 3/8" id retaining ring, for help please see this video: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4-6ob_uILi0
Usage and Installation:
There is a tight fit onto the PG71 shaft when installing this adapter, often to the point that the brass will peel away when pushing the adapter onto the shaft. This will help keep the part in place. When using the 500 Key Hub (am-0077) or another 1/2" bore, keyed item, we suggest to press in the adapter to the hub first, and then press the hub/adapter assembly onto the PG71 shaft. When pressing on to the shaft, a bit of brass will peel away, resulting in a snug fit.

This bracket is used for mounting a PG71 motor and gearbox, PG27 motor and gearbox, and a PG188 Motor and Gearbox. Easily mount any of these to C-Channel.
