This is Dog Gear used within the AM Shifters and Super Shifters. It is shipped with a strong, solid body #4-40 screw. The dog gear has a pocketed hole for the head of a 4-40 screw and on the opposing side are threads to match.

The Toughbox Micro is a functional replacement for the Toughbox Nano. It offers the same gear ratios of the Toughbox Mini in the similar footprint to the TB Nano. The TB Micro features a lightweight plastic molded housing and two different shaft plate options for endless mounting and usage options. The TB Micro accepts one CIM motor and is perfect for drive train and mechanism uses.

The Flat Shaft Plate is one plate option for the Toughbox Micro. This plate allows the TB Micro to be mounted to existing robot structure.

This plastic molded housing is used for the Toughbox Micro. This housing packages the same gear ratios of a Toughbox Nano in a lighter option. This housing is manufactured to face mount or be paired with a Angled Plate or Flat Plate.

All AndyMark gearboxes require grease for proper operation and long life. We suggest using our red tacky grease,am-2768. We also encourage that the user powers the gearbox continuously for 30 minutes without grease to allow the gear teeth to wear in. While we do design with short run times in mind, this 'run in' period for smooth gearbox operation, is recommended. Once this is completed, thoroughly grease the gear teeth periodically to ensure smooth operation.
