This 1/4-20 screw is 1 in. long. This screw is thread forming which means it creates a secure connection with the parts it attaches to without the use of a nut.
These custom designed collar clamps have been designed specifically with FIRST Robotics Competition teams in mind. The one-piece collar clamp is a nice fractional 1/2 in. width to make shaft stackups easy. The clamping force is provided by a 10-32 socket head screw, which is bigger than most used in the competition marketplace. This provides a high-strength clamping solution that shouldn't strip out when you need it most. You can even replace the 10-32 screw if it becomes lost with the screws historically used in the AM14U family of chassis. These thoughtfully designed collar clamps also have small bosses on each side. This allows these collar clamps to be installed directly adjacent to an FR8ZZ Round or FR8ZZ Hex bearing without rubbing on the outer races for smooth operation.
This is a Heavy Duty Hex Bearing which outperforms our previous 1/2" Hex Bearings as it has a Heavy Duty Inner Race. This FR8ZZ-HexHD bearing, 1/2" hex bore, flanged, heavy duty inner race, shielded ball bearing, has an inner race that is thicker and stronger than our recent offering of a similar bearing (am-0279). This bearing has more material between the corners of the hex bore and the edge of the race making it stronger and much less likely to crack under high load. This bearing is guaranteed to have a stronger, thicker race. 100% of these bearings have been quality checked for a smooth fit over 1/2" hex stock here at AndyMark. Many of our long-time customers will recognize this bearing, as it is the same version we sold back in 2008-2011, and we did not have any failures. Now, it is renamed and quality checked for your high load needs - including drive chassis with cantilevered wheels.
NOCO Genius Gen Series 5A 1 and 3 bank Battery Charger
This charger is a must have tool for competition robotics teams and hobbyists using 12-volt lead-acid (flooded, gel, AGM) or lithium-ion batteries. NOCO chargers charge batteries to 100% specific gravity every charge, and are able to adjust current in the absorption and finish stages based on the battery's communication with the charger.
There are up to 3 unique charging banks included in these chargers, meaning that you can charge up to three batteries at a time. Each bank has a capacity of 5 amps. This charger supplies a safe amperage level to charge 12V lead acid batteries quickly. The charger is engineered for occasions which need a charging system that may require the battery to be left on the charger for days at a time.
We have installed your choice of SB50 and SB120 connectors on each of the charging circuits, which makes this charger ready for FRC robot batteries right out of the box.
Ensure that the batteries have had sufficient time to cool before charging. Neglecting this step may be detrimental to the longevity and overall performance of the batteries.

Offered in precisely machined 1.2 inch sections as well as one three and six foot lengths (plus or minus 0.125".) This rigid stock can be cut and used in any assembly you can think of. Gearbox design? Yup. Drive train design? Yep. Manipulator design? Yep!
