The Thrifty Bot exists to provide lower cost, commonly used parts to FIRST Robotics teams. Our goal is to help address the sustainability issues of competition robotics by providing affordable parts to teams.
A staple in any robotics team's shop - the 1/2" rounded hex shaft. This shaft allows you to drive hubs, pulleys and other 1/2" hex broached items while also fitting into a 13.75mm ID bearing with ease. This shaft comes in lengths of 36 inches so you can cut them down to the size you need.
Available in both 7075 (anodized black) or 6061 (not anodized) variants.
Includes a hole sized for #10 taps.
These 4mm thick aluminum 6061 plates mount to grid pattern tubing easily and can be used in multiple applications. They have a 2" center to center distance between the two 1.125" bearing holes and also include 1.875" bolt circle mounting holes as well. All small holes are 5mm in diameter, perfect for 3/16 rivets or #10 bolts.
Overall dimensions: 4" x 2.5" - 4mm thick
Utilize any length of 1/2" hex shaft with this aluminum hex output adapter.
Designed to mount to existing FRC gearboxes and motors like the REV Ultraplanetary & NEO550 motor's back bolt pattern.
Includes a counterbore for a #10 button head or smaller in the center of the part.
