HiGrip wheels provide superior traction for robot movement. HiGrip wheels feature an aggressive tread pattern providing maximum transfer of gearbox power to the ground. A robust polycarbonate core means these wheels are up to the challenge for high impact and speed applications. Varying durometers mean you can choose just how grippy these wheels can be. White or 77A durometer HiGrip wheels have a long life and provide good traction. Black or 60A durometer HiGrip wheels have an intermediate life and higher grip than white. Blue or 60A durometer HiGrip wheels provide the most traction and will wear quickly as a result. The bolt pattern and bore of these wheels allow for convenient bearing placement and easy attachment to other motion parts such as sprockets and pulleys. Product Usage: Many thread locking materials are not compatible with polycarbonate and can eat away at the plastic. Be sure to check which adhesives are okay to use with this product. This novel style of collar clamp is split into two pieces so that it can be attached without removing any shafts. The bore is a 3/8" hex hole. The flats on the perimeter allow for the collar clamp to be held in position or turned for better assembly control. This clamp has been designed and fabricated by BaneBots, and proudly sold through AndyMark. Specifications:
Plastic spacers are included with this clamp, positioned between the two halves. These are to be removed before usage.
Compliant wheels are not intended for moving robots, but moving objects. Compliant wheels give way to allow rigid objects to be manipulated easily. A line of multiple wheels on a driven hex shaft creates a very effective roller that ignores variations in the objects being driven. This makes for high-performance intakes and internal conveyors. The wheels are sized for an interference fit and tend to stay in place on a shaft, though a shaft collar may be used to make absolutely sure the wheels stay clear of other mechanisms or maintain consistent spacing.
The hex bore versions of this wheel are undersized, and are intended to be an interference fit on their respective hex shafts. This interference fit allows for effective torque transfer from the hex shaft to the wheel, as well as allowing the wheel to remain in place along the shaft without the need for spacers or collar clamps:
Different durometer ratings give each wheel unique characteristics. Green wheels (35A durometer) are the softest and most compliant around objects, while orange (40A), maroon (45A), and blue (50A) wheels are increasingly firm. The increased firmness also allows the latter wheels to carry a higher RPM rating. Check out the downloads tab for a chart showing wheels and their maximum RPM.

Machine Key, steel. Used in 2.5" CIM Motor shafts. Specifications:
This adapter converts an 8 mm keyed shaft to 1/2 in. hex. The keyway is 2 mm wide. This allows you to adapt the output of a motor or gearbox like the CIM Motor (am-0255) to any of our hubs or wheels with a 1/2 in. hex bore. You'll need a 2 mm machine key (am-1121) to complete the assembly and transmit torque from the motor.
This adapter is no longer available in the 0.75 in. length.
Churro is a versatile extruded aluminum hex profile. The outside of this part is a 1/2 in. hex with small concave dimples which act as weight savings. There is an inside hole is sized at 0.2 in. in order to fit 1/4-20 thread forming screws. No tapping or threading is needed, as long as a thread forming screw is used. The outside hex size fits a 1/2 in. wrench or socket. The 3-foot churro, our most popular length and the best value on shipping, is available anodized in red, blue, purple, gold and black to dress up your robot. Anodized finish is hardy and doesn't flake off or add thickness like paint, but it is possible for a scratch to expose the bare metal beneath. Take basic precautions in your shop like watching for sharp tools or overtightening this churro in a vise. Specifications:

Never again should you look at chain as a dark, soulless thing full of frustration and anger. This tool will show that mess who's boss. Bring joy and simplicity to your builds and never again be kept from finishing behind schedule.
The block (which is made from aluminum for added lightness) holds your chain steady while you use the screws to press a pin out of a link and ... Break the Chain!
This tool can also be used to re-assemble chains without using a master-link. You'll need a bit of skill and a dash patients, and maybe some practice but in the end its not that hard.
This will only work for #25 chain but we do also have a 35 Chain Break for the hefty chains around.
