Our Robot Signal Light is designed to work with the robo-RIO's RSL port to provide a quick visual indicator of robot status. This is not the 855PB-B12ME522 light specified by R70 of the 2017 FIRST Robotics Competition manual, but it does provide similar functionality. We're offering this product so teams can use all the diagnostic features of the robo-RIO at an affordable price when legality and compactness isn't a priority. Our light housing is larger, and it is wired with two spade connectors. There is no polarity on the light housing, so it is not possible to wire backwards. To wire this light, we recommend our 2-wire cable (am-2133) and either soldering to the spade connections or using a female spade connector available separately. Specifications:
These plugs are intended to indicate batteries that are charged. They fit into an Anderson Power Products (APP) SB-50B Connector. Usage:Batteries not fully charged should not have a plug inserted into their APP connector. Instead they should be put on charge.
Tip-to-tip length is approximately 12.6 inches. Want it longer or shorter? We offer this cable in custom lengths! Both end connectors are crimped with a 6-ton pneumatic crimping tool. One end has connections to attach to the battery and the other has an SB50 Anderson Connector. This cable is resistant to oil, most acids, grease, and even abrasion! That's a TOUGH cable.
Which do you prefer a stiff cable or a flexible cable? No matter your choice we have the best option in either camp. PVC insulated cables create a stiff wire route maintaining shape for repeatable connections. EPDM jacketed cables cand bend and twist to accommodate tight spaces and small places.
This is a heavy-duty compression lug from BURNDY for 06 AWG wire. This compression log can be easily crimped with the Cable Lug Crimping Tool.
Snap action breakers are used commonly in mobile robot applications such as FIRST Robotics Competition power distribution boards. We offer several amperage versions.
This 6 in. long cable is designed specifically for the 2x5 pin data port on the Talon SRX to provide external inputs. It can be used to connect the Talon SRX to feedback devices such as potentiometers, limit switches, analog & quadrature encoders as well as providing other future expansions options beyond what is currently supported.
This cable can be used with the following list of products:
The MK ES17-12, 12 Volt, 18 amp-hour sealed lead acid battery with nut and bolt connector has proven to be a trustworthy power source for many FIRST Robotics Competition robots.
The batteries will be packed within a 7"x7"x7" box (aka: interior box). A 3/4" layer of closed-cell foam will be packed around the interior box, within a 9"x9"x9" box. The entire weight of this double box packing assembly will be approximately 29 pounds.
Two (2) batteries are shipped within one box for this price.
This product is shipped in kit form. When assembled, this cable is mounted on a mobile robot and provides the complete solution for transferring voltage and current from a robot's battery to the Power Distribution board. The tip-to-tip length is approximately 20 inches. Both end connectors of each cable are crimped with a 6-ton crimping tool. Specifications:
