This adapter converts an 8 mm keyed shaft to 1/2 in. hex. The keyway is 2 mm wide. This allows you to adapt the output of a motor or gearbox like the CIM Motor (am-0255) to any of our hubs or wheels with a 1/2 in. hex bore. You'll need a 2 mm machine key (am-1121) to complete the assembly and transmit torque from the motor.
This adapter is no longer available in the 0.75 in. length.
This is a steel compression spring, similar to the one used in the 2017 game FIRST STEAMWORKS?.
This spring is slightly stiffer than the McMaster-Carr 9664K68 spring. Notice below that the spring deflection for the AndyMark spring is 1/2" less than the McMaster spring when they both hold on 10 tooth gear.
This upgrade kit for the AM14U4 is to make it easy to add up to four Falcon 500 motors to the Toughbox Mini, or Toughbox Micro gearboxes in your AM14U4 chassis. We've also included the correctly sized hardware to retain the motor into the gearbox without damaging the internal rotor, as well as the right screw to retain the 14T spline bore gear on the Falcon 500's spline shaft.
Note: This upgrade kit is specifically for Toughbox series gearboxes with a 14T-50T 20DP first stage. It is not compatible with the EVO family of gearboxes. This upgrade kit does not include the Falcon 500 motors.
Do you already have a tried and tested climber but are looking for an easy hook mechanism? We've got you covered. This hook kit is a part of the Climber in a Box. It is simple to assemble and is designed for the climbing tasks commonly found in FIRST Robotics Competition games.
This 0.5 in. long 8-32 Button Head Cap Screw is used on the end of a Falcon 500 motor to retain pinions, adapters, or other spline hardware. It is included with the Falcon 500 Spline to 1/2 inch Hex Shaft Adapter.
This spacer is designed to fit on a shaft or screw that is 0.375 in. in diameter. Spacers help keep things in place in a multitude of ways. You can use this to slip over a shaft that is smaller than the inside diameter, between objects where it gets smashed between them with other fasteners, or help center a shaft of smaller size into a larger hole. Not seeing the length you're looking for? Consider stacking several together.
Washers are typically used distribute a fastener load over a wider area so components that are being held together are not damaged. This washer has a 0.406 inch inside diameter, 0.812 inch outside diameter, and 0.06 inch thickness.
Use this bracket to mount the side of a blue Sport Gearbox within your robot. The bracket extends wider than the body of the gearbox allowing for separate screws to mount the gearbox to the bracket and the bracket to the robot. You can even use these separate screw holes to match-drill the final mounting holes through the bracket to your robot. All holes are sized for 10-32 bolts.
Many times hook and loop is only sold in one section, hook or loop. Get a whopping five feet of the wonderful stuff with this product. Use it to keep your driver station from falling during a match or stick it into your reversible robot bumpers. This is a useful material to keep readily available in the robot shop.
