The NeveRest 40 is a gearmotor with an attached encoder. The output shaft geometry and the gearbox housing diameter is similar to what FTC teams are familiar with. The shaft is a 6 mm D and the gearbox housing is 37 mm diameter.
FIRST Legality:
Encoder:
There is an encoder mounted to the backside of this motor. It is a 7 pulse per revolution (ppr), hall effect encoder. Since the motor's gearbox has a 40:1 reduction, then the NeverRest 40 output shaft provides 280 ppr.
Encoder Cable Options:
NeveRest motors do not come with an encoder cable as we offer 3 cable options:
am-3926a allows you to connect the encoder directly to the FIRST Tech Challenge REV Controller.
am-2992 has the 4 encoder pins joined in one housing using standard 0.1" spacing.
am-2993 allows you to break out the 4 pins separately if you need them in a different order.
Working with the Encoders:
Performance Specs:
Force Needed to Break Gearbox: 1478 oz-in
Time to Failure at Stall: 2 minutes, 54 seconds
Motor Case Temperature at Failure: 190 degrees F
This is the most basic robot interaction elements from the Stage in the 2024 FIRST® Robotics Competition CRESCENDO℠ presented by Haas.
NOTE: The version we are selling does not include the surrounding structure, only the 3 flap assemblies, the polycarbonate sheet on top that locates the Microphones, and 3 chain kits. Teams will need to provide their own truss and surrounding structure to use this product effectively.
AprilTag stickers and plates are NOT included in this product but can be purchaced separately.

This is a kit of loose Anderson Power Products (APP) Powerpole (model PP45) connector hardware, aimed at providing a robot builder some tools to make dis-connectable cables and wires. This kit contains 50 Red Housings, 50 Black Housings and 100 Contacts.
This kit provides the connecting hardware needed to make 50 Ground/12V pairs that are easily removable.
The contacts are rated for 45 amps, and sized for 10-12 gauge wire. Use our Powerpole Crimper for good connection.
Included Hardware:
The 30 Tooth GT2-6mm Timing Belt Pulley can be used with any of the GT2 belts.

XT30 connectors are engineered to have a secure grip and offer a high-quality connection. This power block effortlessly distributes power from an XT30 power source to up to six XT30 devices. The board has one male XT30 input and six female outputs.
This power switch is legal for use in FTC competition.
This switch makes for a simple and satisfying power switch for a robot. It features easy to use XT30 connectors.
We've specially designed the mounting bracket to be compatible with most building systems..
This versatile rotary sensor offers a comprehensive solution for measuring both relative and absolute positions, thanks to its ABI quadrature output and absolute position pulse output capabilities. The encoder is thoughtfully designed with a standard 3/8-inch Hex Through Bore, complete with strategically placed mounting holes to seamlessly integrate into various multi-channel systems. Enhancing its adaptability further, the package includes interchangeable inserts, allowing you to effortlessly convert the 3/8-inch hex to a 6mm D-Shaft, 5mm hex, or 7mm hex, providing you with exceptional flexibility for your application needs.
Great for use in an FTC Odometry system along with our 38mm omni wheel.
This is the official FIRST Tech Challenge Perimeter. This perimeter may be referenced as am-0481, am-0481a, or am-0481b in documentation. This is reusable from year to year and does not include soft tiles, game-specific hardware, components, or game pieces. This "b" revision is compatible with the previous "a" revision, meaning "b" version corners and panels can be used as replacement in "a" version perimeters.
The perimeter is comprised of eight hinged panels and four straight panels. Once assembled, the perimeter creates an 11 feet 9 inch by 11 feet 9 inch square enclosure. The hinged corners and quick release pins make for easy assembly, requiring no tools. Side panels include a built-in wire way for easy cable management.
An adjustable Perimeter Strap (am-2270a) placed under this playing surface help keep the walls square during game play.
